The Black Abbot Bar and Restaurant is located on the edge of Montrose. Well-known for its unrivaled line-up of live music, which happens almost every weekend throughout the year.
The Black Abbot Montrose has both a sizable bar and restaurant area, called Paniters Restaurant – which serves a good selection of delicious homecooked style pub grub. There’s also a cocktail menu, a good selection of alcoholic beverages and the coffee is decent too!
The restaurant doubles up as the perfect place to book as a venue for your birthday, hen/stag party, wedding, or community fundraiser. The venue is free to book, but get in quickly because the diary fills up fast!
The Black Abbot is a traditional Scottish pub, well-known locally for its welcoming, friendly and fun atmosphere. The popular local bar also has a pool table, dart board, jukebox, private parking and a lovely outside area perfect for a sunny afternoon/evening.
